Shipping Information
Every David Emerson Thomas artwork is treated as a collectible piece of fine art.
Whether you purchase an original painting or a limited-edition print, every order is carefully prepared, professionally packaged and inspected before dispatch.
Our goal is simple: to ensure your artwork reaches you safely and in beautiful condition.
Australian Orders
We proudly deliver Australia-wide.
Standard Australian delivery charges are:

Unframed paper print: $35

Professionally stretched canvas print: $100

Original painting: $500
These delivery charges are automatically applied at checkout according to the artwork or print format selected.
Please allow up to 10 business days for the production and dispatch of limited-edition paper and canvas prints.
Canvas prints supplied within Australia are professionally hand-stretched over a custom-made 3.5 cm-deep timber stretcher frame before dispatch.
Paper prints are supplied unframed unless professional framing has been arranged before ordering.
Original paintings are individually prepared for dispatch. Dispatch times may vary depending on the size of the artwork and its destination.
International Collectors
We welcome enquiries from collectors outside Australia.
International customers must contact us before purchasing so we can confirm the delivery address, print or presentation format, packaging requirements, insured shipping cost and any relevant customs requirements.
An unstretched canvas may be available for international delivery by prior arrangement. This can reduce the size and cost of shipping, but the canvas will require professional stretching after delivery.
Once the delivery arrangements and costs have been confirmed, we will provide a secure Shopify invoice and checkout link. International orders cannot be completed through the standard checkout until these arrangements have been confirmed.
Import duties, taxes or customs charges may apply in the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.
International collectors interested in purchasing an original painting must also contact us before purchasing so that suitable insured delivery arrangements can be confirmed.
Tracking
Australian orders include tracked delivery.
Once your artwork has been dispatched, you’ll receive an email containing your tracking details so you can follow its journey.
Tracking and insurance arrangements for international orders will be confirmed before the order is completed.
Packaging
Every artwork is professionally packaged using materials selected to help protect it during transit.
Original paintings and limited-edition prints are packed with great care to minimise the risk of damage while being transported.
Delivery
Once dispatched, delivery times vary depending on your location and the selected carrier.
While we always aim to dispatch orders within the timeframes above, occasional courier or customs delays may occur that are outside our control.
Framed Orders
Professional framing is available by arrangement before ordering.
Because the dimensions, weight and packaging requirements of a framed artwork vary, its delivery cost may differ from the standard charges listed above. We will confirm the framing and delivery costs before providing your final invoice and secure checkout link.
Please allow up to 15 business days for a framed artwork to be prepared before dispatch.
